It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the 1st live ISAPS Olympiad to be held in Athens, Greece from August 31st – September 2nd 2023.
The ISAPS Board of Directors has decided in 2019 that Official World Congresses of ISAPS should take place yearly. So, in even years from 2022 we will have the World Congress, and in odd years the Olympiads.
Originally the 1st Olympiad would take place in Athens, in 2021. Due to the covid-19 pandemic and the postponement of the 2020 World Congress in Vienna the 1st live Olympiad was moved to 2023.
Athens the capital of Greece, will be the host city for the 2023 ISAPS Olympiad. A vibrant city with endless historical and civilization sites from ancient times, beautiful surroundings and riviera, amazing dining and recreational facilities await you to offer, together with the scientific part of the Olympiad, immemorable time and experiences. The end of August and September are also the best periods of the summer for Greece, a destination in which no need to mention the unique scenery and nature that someone can visit both in the mainland and the numerous islands of the Aegean and Ionian seas.
The Olympiad is going to be Your Meeting, Your program!
Our ISAPS International Olympiad program is yours to decide! Our initial invited faculty of approximately 60 speakers have been chosen as your ‘best rated’ speakers across all ISAPS events of the last 3 years, according to the speaker ratings.
The rest of our program is also up to you! All program presentations will be selected from a competitive peer-reviewed abstract submission process. So, if you would like to take part in our program you can! Just submit your best work within one of our subject categories and it will be considered for one of our Olympiad presentation formats.
Best presentation awards will be voted (by our audience and scientific committee) and presented in all categories during our Olympiad award ceremonies on-site in Athens.
