This program is for ISAPS members only. You are eligible to apply if you are either

• a resident in the last year of your national recognized plastic surgical subspecialist training program OR
• recently board certified (within 3 years of certification).

Once you have made sure you are eligible, it is time to choose your location preferences. We cannot promise that you will be placed in your first choice of location.

The deadline this year is May 1, 2023, to apply for a fellowship in 2024. Applications must be submitted before 1 May in the year preceding the fellowship you are applying for.

A complete application form will include:

• 1 complete Application Form
• 3 Reference Forms
• 1 Photograph (head and shoulders)

The results of the application process will be communicated in the month of October. Sending emails asking for your result will not speed up this process. It is not possible for us to communicate the result of your application before this date.

After your selection, all communication will run via the designated secretary of the fellowship unit you have been appointed. This might be direct with your host surgeon, or it may be with their secretary or a program co-ordinator.

Once accepted you will receive a coursebook which contains all the relevant information you would need in preparation for your fellowship.

• Please send a picture of yourself
• If all 4 forms (1x Application Form, and 3x Reference Forms) are not sent, your application will not be taken into consideration.
• If you have not answered all questions on your forms, your application will not be taken into consideration.
• If your application is not submitted before 1 May, your application will not be taken into consideration.
